The Art & Craft
From Digital Sculpture to Tangible Art
Where high-fidelity digital design culminates in unique works of physical substance.
Our creative ethos follows a timeless trajectory: conceiving a vision, and subsequently bringing it to life.
In our studio, the journey begins with an evocative concept, followed by the meticulous gathering of reference material. We then render the design digitally, manifest it through high-resolution 3D printing, execute advanced casting when required, and finish each piece using time-honored artisanal methods before shipping it worldwide. We seamlessly wed enduring, proven techniques with state-of-the-art technologies.
Regarding our integration of Artificial Intelligence: we selectively utilize AI tools as assistants to streamline specific technical workflows. They do not dictate our creative direction. We remain firmly at the helm of our artistry.

The Art of Relief
Bridging Painting and Sculpture
Relief carvings carry a history far older than written language itself. If we view painting and sculpture as two opposites—the two-dimensional and the three-dimensional—the various forms of relief literally bridge the gap between them.
From low relief (Bas-relief) found on coins, where volume emerges purely through contours, to high relief (Alto-relief), where elements of the figures detach from the background to stand freely in space, reliefs offer an endless interplay between light, shadow, and depth.
A Craft for the Elite
For thousands of years, creating a relief was a grueling and demanding process. It required countless hours of manual labor by highly skilled artisans, materials were prohibitively expensive, and production times were vast. The most unforgiving aspect? Correcting a mistake in stone was virtually impossible.
For all these reasons, relief art was historically a privilege reserved for a select few: art-loving nobles, royalty, and the church.
The Future of Tradition: The Digital Era
Today, technology is democratizing this ancient art form. Modern synthetic materials, pneumatic tools, CNC machining, digital sculpting, and 3D printing have rendered relief decoration more accessible, precise, and versatile.
In our workshop, we honor this rich heritage and elevate it into the modern era. Utilizing advanced 3D design techniques and high-definition resin printing, we create relief artwork of exceptional detail, bringing the classical allure of dimensionality into contemporary spaces.

Authenticity & Original Craftsmanship
While our subject matter is often inspired by historical landmarks, Orthodox iconography, and cultural heritage, every single 3D model is digitally sculpted from scratch by the mDK Creations team.
We translate two-dimensional imagery and historical references into complex, three-dimensional reliefs. We strictly avoid pre-made, commercially available 3D templates or generic internet assets. Every digital file and final physical piece is a proprietary mDK Creations design, offering an exclusive work of modern craftsmanship unavailable anywhere else.

Master Materials & Mediums
When we proceed with foundry and casting methods, we capture the finest details by creating a high-fidelity silicone matrix. The final physical pieces are rendered using a curated selection of premium mediums:
Composite Mineral Stone (Jesmonite): An exceptionally dense, high-performance material that captures every nuanced detail. It is relatively lightweight, structurally resilient, and perfectly suited for outdoor elements.
Cold-Cast Metal: For an authentic metallic finish, we apply an initial outer mantle laden with genuine bronze or silver powder. The resulting surface behaves exactly like natural metal, developing a rich, organic patina over time.
Structural Concrete: An immortal material that offers unmatched longevity; however, its substantial weight makes it less practical for delicate decor, and its inherent porosity can compromise microscopic details in smaller scales.
Artisanal Plaster: A classic yet delicate material, prone to minor abrasion and susceptible to ambient moisture, ideal for traditional indoor aesthetics.

Technical Specifications & Alternates:
During the initial prototyping and formative stages, we build our primary models using an engineered, shatter-resistant resin. Alternatively, we may employ an enriched, eco-friendly bio-polymer of plant origin (PLA) or a technical polymer engineered for high structural integrity (ABS). When these compositions serve as the final display pieces, they are meticulously hand-painted with professional acrylics or finished to emulate precious metals. These specific polymer models are intended exclusively for interior spaces, as their resistance to temperature fluctuations and humidity is inherently limited.
Structural Integrity:
Reinforcement: For larger scales, we integrate a structural reinforcement mesh made of advanced glass fibers to ensure ultimate structural integrity and long-term stability.
Weatherproofing: When a piece is destined for outdoor installation, it is treated with a specialized, technical varnish that renders it completely impermeable to water.
Architecture: To balance weight, structural utility, and cost-efficiency, works exceeding 40 centimeters in dimension are engineered with a hollow architecture, maintaining a robust wall thickness of 10 to 12 millimeters. Below this threshold, pieces are cast solid.

Dimensions and Pricing Guidelines
The foundational parameter dictating cost is the physical volume of the object, alongside raw material consumption and the specialized artisan hours invested. Because volumetric scale increases exponentially rather than linearly, a minor increase in dimensions results in a significantly larger physical mass. This exponential expansion directly influences material volume and labor, which is reflected in the final valuation.
For your convenience and ease of navigation across our catalog, we utilize the piece's largest single dimension as our primary sizing guide.

Memorial Reliefs & The Memory Box Collection
Honoring Departed Loved Ones Through Timeless Visual Legacies.
Art has always possessed the unique power to defy time, capturing the essence of those who shaped our lives long after they have gone. At mDK Creations, we approach memorial art with the utmost reverence, dignity, and artistic care. We translate two-dimensional photographs of your departed loved ones into permanent, high-fidelity three-dimensional reliefs—sculpting a lasting tribute that preserves their memory for generations to come.
Our memorial works are designed to serve two sacred purposes:
Funerary & Monumental Reliefs
In accordance with timeless traditions, we design bespoke architectural bas-reliefs intended for integration into final resting places and family funerary monuments. Rendered in our highly resilient Composite Mineral Stone (Jesmonite) or Structural Concrete, these pieces are fully weatherproofed and built to withstand the elements, standing as enduring symbols of love and remembrance.
The Memory Box Collection (Development Phase)
For families, close friends, and relatives who wish to keep a tangible piece of their loved one's legacy close to home, we are engineering The Memory Box. These are intimate, solid sculptural keepsakes designed to hold a profound emotional weight:
The Intimate Edition (~10×10×5 cm): A small, tactile tribute featuring the high-definition relief portrait on the face, perfect for private altars, desks, or family mantles.
The Legacy Edition (~20×20×10 cm): A more prominent structural piece, offering deep contrast between light and shadow, capturing every nuanced detail of the individual's likeness.
Reference Photo Guidelines
How we transform your memories into high-fidelity dimensions.
To capture the true essence and character of your loved one, our design team works meticulously with the visual material you provide. Below is a guide on how to prepare your reference material:
The Ideal Scenario:
Whenever possible, we prefer a clear, high-resolution portrait photograph taken from a front-facing angle (en face), featuring balanced, clear lighting. This allows our sculptors to immediately read the depth, subtle contours, and fine details of the face.
Our Promise for Limited Material:
We understand completely that the perfect photograph is not always available. If you only possess older, low-resolution, blurred, or damaged photos, please do not hesitate to send them. By leveraging cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence reconstruction tools alongside our manual 3D sculpting expertise, we can analyze, enhance, and breathe new life into limited source material. We use these advanced technologies to achieve a remarkably high-fidelity approximation of the individual, ensuring that even a faded memory can be beautifully translated into a striking, tangible work of art.
B2B, Wholesale & Trade Collaborations
Architectural Solutions, Retail Partnerships & Cultural Institutions.
At mDK Creations, we seamlessly bridge high-fidelity digital design with volumetric physical production, offering a highly efficient and scalable framework for professionals. Because our production methodology isolates the initial design and silicone molding phases from subsequent castings, our cost efficiency scales dramatically with order volume.
We partner with a diverse spectrum of trade professionals, including interior architects, hospitality designers, fine gift boutiques, premium cultural tourism retailers, and purveyors of fine ecclesiastical items and religious art. For businesses looking to feature our proprietary relief artwork in their collections or projects, we offer highly optimized wholesale pricing structures:
Small & Mid-Scale Editions (Miniatures, Souvenirs & Small Scale):
For bulk orders ranging from 20, 30, or 50+ units, the initial design and mold costs are entirely amortized. This allows us to deliver high-volume, flawless proprietary casts at an exceptionally competitive unit cost. It is an ideal framework for curated heritage gift shops, luxury tourism retailers seeking authentic modern craftsmanship, and specialized establishments showcasing high-fidelity icons and ecclesiastical art.
Large & Monumental Scale Editions (Large & Monument Scale):
For architectural integration, gallery exhibits, or large-scale interior installations, scaling your order to even 5 or 10 units triggers significant economies of scale. Once the initial high-fidelity master matrix is finalized, subsequent architectural shells (12mm hollow architecture with glass fiber mesh) are produced with substantially reduced overhead, passing the structural cost efficiency directly to your project’s budget or retail margin.

Concept Curation & Commercial Spaces
Bespoke Collections for Luxury Hospitality, Educational Institutions & Premium Venues.
For commercial spaces looking to elevate their architectural identity—including boutique hotels, academic institutions, private wellness centers, and high-concept entertainment venues—we offer comprehensive Concept Curation Services. We understand that designing a space often requires visual variety rather than mass repetition; you may require an expansive collection of relief artworks, featuring unique, individual subject matters across multiple rooms or galleries.
While distinct designs involve separate master matrices, we support large-scale spatial projects through tailored structural benefits:
Curated Portfolio Pricing: Instead of rigid per-piece pricing, we evaluate your project as a holistic installation. For volume orders comprising diversified designs, we offer specialized contract pricing based on the total physical volume of the commission.
Complimentary Architectural Branding: For hospitality and corporate clients, we can seamlessly integrate your brand’s crest, logo, or custom insignia into the framework or reverse side of the structural casts.
Cohesive Material Integration: We ensure that whether you select twenty entirely different historical or contemporary reliefs, they will be cast with absolute consistency in tone, weight, and finish (e.g., matching Composite Mineral Stone or Cold-Cast Metal patinas) to maintain a seamless aesthetic narrative throughout your venue.
